I felt like a model in a tropical bamboo forest ๐Ÿ˜‚, but I was just 20 minutes from my home in Georgia.

Hiking Guide For Earth Day

If you are in the Atlanta area and you’re looking for outdoor activities, these 3 easy hikes are the perfect cure for an empty afternoon. If you have never been on a hike before, these 3 trails can take between 30 minutes – 2 hours depending which route you take. These hikes are easy going and you won’t feel like you have to hack and heave too hard as you hike up the hill. Planning Your Easy Hikes in Atlanta:

??? –> How long will the hike take? Is it for beginner hikers? What are the cool views I should look for? What obstacles can I expect while I’m walking the trail? I have a lot of questions before I go on a hike for the first time. Going on a new hike is a fun adventure! But… going unprepared can be dangerous if you don’t have the correct expectations or gear. Before going to anew park and hiking I like to check out All Trails or GA Trails so I’m prepared for the hike!

East Palisades and White Water Creek

4 MILES

My absolutely favorite place to meander around. You can kick your feet around in White Water Creek and play with the family dogs that everyone lets run free. Then if you’re up for a longer hike, travel to the Bamboo forest. Pretend you are exploring the tropics and enjoy the sunshine through the bamboo trees. ๐ŸŒž

Sope Creek Park

1.5 MILES

You can hike the Sope Creek Trail to the ruins of a stacked-stone Civil War-era paper mill on the banks of a rocky creek. Then you can loop to a serene pond; a perfect place for a good read, fishing, and picturesque picnics.

Arabia Mountain

2-4 MILES (ROUND TRIP)

If you are look for an easy hike to a mountain top, Arabia Mountain in the place for you. The hike to the top take a few minutes and the rocky terrain is easily managed. Try hiking to the top to peer above the tree tops. Then search around the rocky mountain top for the hidden treasure of plants and flowers.

I love going on hikes solo to think and going with friends to reconnect. Spending some time outdoors is relaxing and just what I need to reboot for the week. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ
